I scanned the improved drawings and uploaded to photoshop. I was going to create the double colour scheme again like the previous ones however I preferred adding more colours and creating a colourful illustration instead.
The first one I did I thought the blue was too dark and I wasn't that happy with the text. I thought it was too dark and didn't really fit within the illustration.
I then made the blue lighter and moved the text but I still didn't think the text belonged there. I also attempted to create a shadow effect but it didn't add anything to the illustration and you couldn't really see the shadow.
I then changed the text style to an upper and lower arc. I liked how it created a wave effect which suited the under water illustration.
I then thought you can still see the pencil outline so I added a black line around the illustration. I was happy with this until I moved on to do the 'spill the beans' illustration and I preferred the flat colour in the bean one so I would like to change it to match so they become a series and also create the pickle one too.
