Painting session 1

Firstly I took close up of the whisk at different angles. I then printed them out and enlarged them so they were bigger enough to become stencils. The using a craft knife and mat I cut round the whisk producing negative space and postive space stencils.

I then sprayed the negative positive stencils in red yellow and blue next to each other. Then once dried I traced round the stencil of the whisk onto acetate and put them in front of the spray paint to see what that would look like. I liked the illustrative style so traced round them using a light box and a marker pen onto the spray paint.

I also had another spray paint piece so I stuck the stencil over it creating a shadow effect as I liked the effect the spray paint had over the stencil.

The using the first spray painting piece I placed the negative stencil over the top and photocopied that as again i liked the effect the spray paint had on the stencil.
